Two decks, one indicator, endless possibilities. Above and Below Solitaire flips the classic solitaire formula on its head, forcing you to think both upward and downward at the same time. Every move matters, and every win feels like a perfect stack of suits. If you love a challenge that rewards foresight and quick reflexes, this is the card game that will keep you hooked.
The game starts by dealing a single face‑up card that becomes the “indicator.” From there, four foundation piles grow upward, each starting one rank above the indicator and wrapping from Ace to King. Simultaneously, four other foundations grow downward, beginning one rank below the indicator and looping from King back to Ace. The stock deals one card at a time to the waste pile. When a waste card matches the indicator’s rank, it jumps straight to the indicator pile. You can also shift the top waste card onto any foundation or onto one of the four tableau columns. Tableau columns accept only one‑card moves, but they can be built up or down as long as the suit matches. Once the stock runs out, you recycle the waste for another pass. Moving cards between foundations is allowed, giving you a slight edge in this tough solitaire variant.
Winning isn’t about luck; it’s about controlling the flow of suits. Start by clearing the indicator pile early – every matching rank you pull frees up space for new moves. Prioritize building both upward and downward foundations evenly; neglecting one direction will choke your options fast. Keep an eye on the waste pile: the top card often decides whether you can free a crucial tableau card. When you recycle the waste, remember that the order flips, so plan two turns ahead. Use the allowed foundation swaps sparingly; they’re a safety net, not a crutch. As you clear more cards, your rank rises, unlocking brag‑worthy scores that other Pokid players will notice.
Ready to test your card‑stacking instincts? Jump straight into Above and Below Solitaire and prove you can master both sides of the deck. The challenge is set, the cards are waiting – start stacking now.
