Taiga: Expedition Strategy

Start with the Zubr‑130 Veteran. Its balanced engine lets you feel the weight of each load without overwhelming slip. Upgrade the mud tires first; they cut through sticky patches that would otherwise stall your progress. When you approach a steep ford, feather the throttle and apply the handbrake to keep the load from shifting. Use the high‑side add‑on for tall cargo like hay bales; it prevents them from bouncing out on rough bumps.

Explore every handcrafted route. Shortcuts may shave seconds, but they often hide hidden rocks or sudden water. Test each path with a light load before committing heavy cargo. As you collect stars, unlock the Leshy‑66 4x4 and the six‑wheel Cayman‑6522 Taiga Beast. More wheels distribute weight, making it easier to navigate the Great Swamp’s quagmires.

Keep an eye on the vehicle’s fuel gauge. Refueling stations appear only at select checkpoints, so plan your stops around them. The upgrade tree rewards strategic spending: a stronger suspension lets you tackle boulders without losing logs, while a larger fuel tank extends your range on longer legs.
